Provides leadership and direction for the Imaging staff while supporting the hospitals clinical initiatives, policies and procedures. Works with the modality staff as well as other department staff in accomplishing the highest quality of patient care and customer satisfaction and in assuring that the modality runs effectively and efficiently. Supports and works closely with the Director of Imaging Services to ensure that all areas of the Imaging Department work together to accomplish the goals and standards set forth by the hospital. Supports and actively promotes the mission and vision of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.

Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating nursing care for Radiology, and Interventional Radiology. in accordance with policies and procedures of the nursing dept. Responsibilities include overseeing unlicensed employee activity, synthesizing patient information, assessment of patients, planning care/intervention, patient teaching, and family. Implementation of treatment in radiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, IR and cardiology with physician, and nursing direction. The RN must communicate effectively and collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.RN with current state license. Must have at least three years clinical experience as a Staff Nurse in a comparable area.
