ICU12/HR NIGHTS36/HRS13 WeeksBed Count/Admissions:
Bliss 11i is a 16 bed MICU.
Beds 1-12 are located on the main side in the square and beds 13-16 are down the hallway to the right when you enter the unit.
We work with Physician Assistants and Pulmonary Attending Physicians. Attending Physicians rotate every Saturday.Vital Signs or Standard Work Drivers:
Vitals are done Q1 hour unless patients are on vasoactive medications.
Temps and finger sticks are done Q4 by the PCA and are written on the door sheets that are taped on the patients door.
Lunch buddies are assigned to assist with your assignment throughout the shift. This person will be who covers your breaks and travels, and is close by to help with anything else you might need during the shiftProficient in EPIC a mustEOW/EOH
