Address- Diagnose and treat a patient's health problems. Perform health assessments to identify new symptoms of possible undiagnosed conditions or complications.
- Administer medication. Attend to sick call, emergency sick call, inmate and employee accidents.
- Manage and deliver restorative or palliative care to the ill, disabled or dying.
- Teach and counsel patients about maintenance of health and prevention of illness or complications.
- Contribute as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team and as a consultant on health-related committees to plan and implement the health care needs of consumers.
- Execute medical regimens as prescribed by licensed physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and podiatrists.
* Level 2 Mental Health facility
* No cell phones or electronic devices allowed in facility
* Requesting full time but may consider part time
* Must have one year medical/surgical experience, BLS certified and have a current NYS license
* Hours,shifts, days off will vary based on facility needs - primary need is 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
* ER experience recommended
