AMHC is proud to offer a new opportunity for a Part-Time Registered Nurseat our Residential Treatment Facility in Presque Isle. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for working collaboratively with the Residential Staff Team, as well as the medical/primary care as one team focusing on integrated, holistic care delivery, support, and prevention for individuals who have substance use disorders. The RN will support and advance a patient-centered, self-management approach to working with individuals to effectively assess their health care needs, identify prevention, treatment goals, and management of their overall health condition, and reduce avoidable health care costs. The chosen candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members.
Qualifications:
- A Maine State Registered Nurse License is required
- Must have a valid driver's license
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Provide ongoing Compassionate and Respectful client/staff education to maintain the Integrity of the services that are provided.
- Demonstrate AMHC's focus on Service by reviewing client medical needs through chart reviews, face-to-face contacts, and assisting in the coordination of care for the individuals.
- Enhance the Collaboration between multidisciplinary healthcare teams and other community supports.
- Utilize the electronic health records and documentation to demonstrate the Excellence in service provided to each individual.
Schedule:
- This is a 24- hour per week position
