Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Assist in medical procedures such as phlebotomy and wound care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in a primary care or hospital setting
- Knowledge of pain management techniques and medication administration
- Ability to lift and move patients safely when necessary
- Familiarity with medical imaging and diagnostic procedures
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
