We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate, health care records and reports.
- Process preauthorizations for medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
- Data entry-based clinical information received from offices or facilities
- Coordinate patient homecare needs following a medical intervention
- Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
- Ensure compliance with patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses.
- Communication with patients and patient carriers.
- Establish medical necessity using MCG. national criteria.
Registered Nurse Requirements:
- Active Ohio nursing license.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff.
- Basic computer skills.
- Professional, friendly attitude.
- 3 years of acute care experience (preferred)
- Previous authorization reviews (advantageous).
- Ability to problem solve.
