Registered Nurse

Latitude Food Allergy Care is a well funded high-growth healthcare services company based in the SF Bay Area and NYC. Latitude is at the forefront of food allergy prevention, diagnosis, and care for babies, children and adults. Latitude currently has five locations and is planning rapid expansion throughout the NY area and around the country.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Obtaining vital signs, placing allergy skin tests, administering injections, overseeing oral food challenges, preparing oral immunotherapy doses, assisting with emergency care, and providing patient education
• Performing blood draws for both pediatric and adult patients
• Proactive patient care including monitoring and responding to patient calls, messages, dose management, and EMR messages
• Administrative responsibilities include ordering labs, obtaining insurance approvals, scheduling, data entry, ordering medications and restocking clinical supplies
• After hours emergency patient hot-line management (on rotation)

Requirements

• Active New York RN license; preferred > 1 year of clinical practice
• BLS/CPR certification obtained within 30 days of hire
• Phlebotomy certification or experience with pediatric blood draws
• Background with Pediatrics and/or Allergy/Immunology

• Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently

• Personal initiative, self-motivation, hands-on style and strong work ethic

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
