Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Ambulatory (Nursing)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in an ambulatory setting, you will provide clinical care and support to patients in outpatient facilities, clinics, and other ambulatory care settings. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure positive health outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
3. Monitor patient progress and provide education and support to promote health and wellness
4. Assist with minor procedures and treatments in the ambulatory care setting
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
7. Provide patient education on self-care and disease management
8. Adhere to all applicable medical guidelines, regulations, and best practices
9. Assist with patient referrals to specialty care providers as needed
10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Active RN license in the state of practice
2. BLS certification
3. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
7. Proficiency in electronic health record systems
8. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
10. Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing patient needs
