Registered Nurse

Child Health Care Associates is busy, two location pediatrics' practice (the offices are located in East Syracuse and Liverpool). CHCA has an excellent team of doctors and nurses and offer great benefits! Limited weekend and holiday requirement.

The RN is responsible for performing nursing care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance, and restoration of patients’ health and wellness.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1. Taking vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight

2. Giving immunizations to all ages of children

3. Taking medical histories

4. Entering patient information in the EMR system

5. Scheduling appointments

6. Keeping the MD on time by prioritizing tasks

7. Patient triage

8. Keeping patient rooms clean and stocked

9. Assist the MD in any necessary procedures

10. Taking patient requests for prescription refills

11. PPD Reads

12. Works between both Liverpool and Kirkville locations based on staffing need

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· RN, NYS License

· Active CPR certification required

EXPERIENCE:

· EMR experience preferred
