What You’ll Do:
At Precision Health, we believe that optimal healthcare begins with exceptional people! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team in the preventive care space. The (RD) will work directly with patients to provide nutrition and lifestyle counseling, including pre-diabetic, diabetic, cardiovascular, and weight management education, with the overall goal to improve lifestyle habits and promote positive health outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze intake assessments including medical history, dietary habits, laboratory results, and more
Provide intensive nutrition education and support to patients via phone, video, or digital (chat, text, email) to improve health outcomes
Conduct diet and lifestyle counseling and education sessions via video; including offering general movement, sleep, or stress management advice as needed and related to nutrition care
Provide Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) for devices (scale, CGM, BP monitor, etc.)
Support and follow up with patients via messaging and other platforms
Employ Precision Health’s provided nutrition training and educational materials to ensure consistent care while adapting to patient needs
Incorporate motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques throughout the continuity of care
Collaborate with NPs, PA’s, MDs and all clinicians involved in the medical management of your patients
Complete required training, and adhere to company guidelines and policies
Requirements and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (required).
Must currently be a Registered Dietitian credentialled by the Commission of Dietetic Registration
Existing state license in Utah or Idaho.
Preferred experience utilizing motivational interviewing to provide behavior change
Demonstrated ability to receive constructive feedback and then incorporate it into patient calls to drive performance.
Must have a home office for private patient conversations along with high-speed internet.
Experience with electronic health records (preferable AdvancedMD), Zoom, and Google Drive tools
Friendly and genuine “webside manner” and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Position is mainly virtual, but some travel will be required for periodic meetings and training.
