Summary

The Client Service Associate reports to the Senior Client Service Associate and is critical to appropriately leveraging Advisors’ time and is responsible for providing technical support for the Advisors. Responsibilities include data gathering, modeling, case design, scenario building, and plan and presentation development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Support the Advisors/Senior Client Service Associate with analysis, Client Service, and technical assistance

· Research investment managers, services, products, and pricing

· Assist in preparation of consolidated performance reporting on a quarterly basis

· Analyze investments and asset allocation and generate rebalancing trades

· Manage data and plans in financial planning software

· Responsible for client meeting preparation and follow-up including assembling requisite paperwork, account reviews, report generation and meeting documentation

· Understand and leverage the resources available at the Broker Dealer to the fullest extent

· Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and / or Abilities

· Expert computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint) are essential

· Strong analytical skills

· Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

· Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks at once

· Client Resource Management Software, Financial Planning Software, analytical tools and broker/dealer or custodian systems knowledge

Education and / or Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field

· The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry allowing for an understanding of broker/dealer operation and financial services products, including but not limited to: equities, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accounts

Certificates, Licenses, Registration

· SIE, Series 7 and Series 63/65 preferred (or ability to obtain)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
