Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt)

We provide clinic-based and outreach ABA services for young children birth to 6 years old. Our team consists of BCBAs, RBTs, and administrative staff. Basic Job Duties:

• Implement programs for young children with autism that are based on the principles of ABA to increase communication, daily living skills, social skills, and play skills.
• Modify antecedents/consequences to decrease problem behavior while teaching appropriate alternative behaviors.
• Implement behavior plans to manage problematic behaviors when they occur.
• Consult with BCBAs to ensure the highest level of treatment integrity.
• Record data on behavior and progress on a continuous basis.
• Job shadowing and observations for training and growth opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Active RBT certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to work
• Ability to pass a level 2 background screenings
• Physical ability to work with children who engage in challenging behavior
• Physical ability to work with and around small children including lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, kneeling, running, climbing, twisting, bending, sitting on the floor/getting up from the floor

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
