Job Description
Autism Learners has a job opening at a competitive rate of pay for a Registered Behavior Technician/behavior assistant to provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment to children with autism and related disorders. We are looking for talented, hard-working, and experienced individuals to provide behavior-analytic support to our clients.
The role will begin as part-time with the potential for full-time hours as your caseload increases.
We are looking for in-home professionals.
Areas serviced: Newport News, Yorktown, Williamsburg
Job Duties:
- Implement treatment plan with fidelity.
- Implement behavior and skill acquisition programs with fidelity.
- Complete data summary reports for assigned cases.
- Meet all deadlines on or before the due date for assigned tasks and reports.
- Attend all monthly team meetings.
- Meet with the BCBA on your case at least twice per month.
- Keep a record of your supervision and task-related hours.
- Act as a mandated reporter on all cases.
Requirements:
- Completed 40-hour RBT training course (required).
- Bachelor's Degree in applied behavior analysis, special education, psychology, or related field (preferred).
- Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (preferred).
- RBT 40-hour training coursework completed within the last year (preferred).
- 1 year of experience working in the field of education, behavioral health, mental health, or applied behavior analysis (preferred).
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Have access to modern technology devices such as a laptop, iPad, tablet, smartphone, etc. that can be used to perform day-to-day work tasks, on-site and off-site.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance.
- Must be available to work afternoon and evening hours.
- Clear background check.
