Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt)

Indian River County Community (School and home) Based Position

We are hiring full time RBTs, flexible schedule is a must and you must already be a Registered Behavior Technician. Daytime and evening or weekend hours available to service children in school, home and community settings!

A Registered Behavior Technician provides 1:1 therapy to the child in the home, school or community setting. You will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to follow their behavior intervention plan. You will establish and maintain relationships with the children and families you serve, you will implement behavior plans and take data on skills learned during your treatment time. Experience/Education/Requirements:

*At least high school diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred

*Experience working with children

***RBT Certification through the BACB is necessary

***Provider Type 39 Medicaid Number preferred

*Basic Life Support, CPR, First Aid

*Supervision for those pursuing BCBA certification

Job Requirements:

*Reliable transportation (willingness to commute to and from appointments), Valid Driver's License and insurance

*Able to follow directions, ask for assistance, work as part of a team

*Pass Level 2 background screening

*Legally authorized to work in the US

*Due to the nature of the work you should be able to move swiftly, be physically able to lift at least 45 lbs. and be comfortable sitting on the floor, squatting, standing etc. depending on the flow of a session
