Job Description
RBT Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with skill acquisition programs, including teaching communication, social, and daily living skills
- Support clients in community outings and social interactions
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement strategies effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on individuals' lives
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes or other designated locations
*Must have the RBT certification and RBT Nevada State Lincense*
Must be available to work in all environments (in-home, clinic and/or school) where ABA therapy may be provided.
Note: This position may require evening or weekend availability based on client needs.
