We are looking for a candidate to hire a Registered Architect for our Buildings team.
REGISTERED ARCHITECT QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s and master’s degree in architecture required
- Registered/Licensed Architect required or the ability to attain licensure within one year after hire
- 5+ years’ architectural experience possessing knowledge and experience in design of projects such as commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings
- Revit experience is preferred
- Experience preparing construction documents, drawings, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Experience in construction administration execution
Responsibilities:
REGISTERED ARCHITECT MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
- Independently completes programming, schematic design, design development and construction documents.
- Strong skills in project management and working across multi-discipline projects.
- Collaborates and coordinates with design staff to ensure accurate document and drawing production.
- Assists with the preparation of construction documents needed for vertical building structures and retrofits.
- Communicates with clients regarding project issues and attends meetings under the direction of a supervisor.
- Responsible for maintaining technical knowledge through completion of various training initiatives: attending seminars, reviewing professional publications, attending in-house systems/management training
REGISTERED ARCHITECT MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
- Able to visit work sites to monitor project progress and reports findings.
- Ability to meet all safety requirements if/when visiting a work site.
- Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency.
- Ability to react quickly and calmly to high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.
- Occasional to moderate travel may be required.
- Other duties as assigned.
