Major Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the overall operations of and provide full-time oversight and accountability for region.
  • Provide coverage, stabilization and progression of the business plan during times of vacancies and on-boarding of newly hired leaders.
  • Assist Executive Directors/LNHA in the preparation/analyses of the annual financial operating budget. Monitor monthly performance of facilities in relation to the budget and intervene as needed.
  • Recruit, hire, supervise, and train Executive Directors/LNHA.
  • Work closely with sales/marketing staff to set strategies for promotions and expansion of the census/programs/services within the facilities.
  • Support and guide the facilities quality improvement processes.
  • Schedule regular meetings with Executive Directors/LNHA and periodic site visits to provide supervision, ensure communication, and to monitor facility operations.
  • Conduct and documents annual performance evaluations on each Executive Director/LNHA.
  • Conducts assessment of systems/processes in place at the care centers they are supporting to ensure compliance with company practices are in place.
  • Leads management staff and consultants in developing and working from a business plan that focuses on all aspects of Operations, including setting priorities and job assignments. Monitors each department's activities, communicates policies, evaluates performance, provides feedback, and assists, observes, coaches and disciplines as needed.
  • Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results as well as the development of a successful management team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as a Nursing Home Administrator in the state of consultation.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have Regional & Multi Facility experience.
  • Must possess demonstrated skills related to management, planning, budgeting, marketing and quality improvement.
  • Proven track record in performance management and effective leadership.
  • Ability to travel extensively including overnight stays and for extended periods of time.
  • You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
