Regional Drivers service Interwest Transportation customers by picking up and delivering loads while providing exceptional customer service. Regional drivers utilize sleeper trucks to successfully complete their job duties.
Safety and Compliance
- Perform thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of each workday and thorough post-trip vehicle inspections at the end of each workday.
- Document and report any required maintenance or repairs found during the vehicle inspection process.
- Operate a tractor/trailer combination vehicle in a safe manner while complying with all laws and regulations pertaining to the operation thereof.
- Remain alert and attentive to ensure the safe operation of fleet vehicles.
- Drive and work in all kinds of weather conditions.
- Ensure loads are secure according to FMCSA regulations.
- Follow all Hours-of-Service rules through use of an Electronic Logging Device or, when necessary, a paper log.
Customer Service
- Assist with loading/unloading trailers at customer facilities.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Hostle trailers at customer facilities as needed.
- Help keep equipment in good repair by sweeping out, ensuring tires are properly inflated, ensure proper paperwork and permits are present, etc.
Attention to Detail
- Complete and turn in all paperwork in a timely manner.
- Plan routes using company approved truck routes.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Be familiar with and comply with FMCSA rules and regulations.

Pay: $73,340.00 - $81,268.00 per year
