Administers medication and other treatments as prescribed, and maintains health related data for students enrolled in the Regional Summer School Program.
Program Dates:
- July 9 - August 16, four (4) hours per day (no school 7/19, 7/26, 8/2, 8/9)
- August 19 & 20 seven (7) hours per day (Regents exam days)
- Must be able to work all dates
- Administer medications and treatments per health care providers' orders and parental written authorization based on established guidelines and district policy.
- Follow communicable disease control procedures and inform and advise administration and parents regarding school exclusion and readmission.
- Provide care for student illnesses/accidents and complete required reports as per school policies and protocols.
- Report physical and sexual abuse and neglect as mandated by law.
- Plan with administrators, teachers, and other school personnel to modify the school environment for students with special needs.
- Perform inventory of health supplies at end-of-program.
- Perform other such duties as may be assigned by the Regional Summer School site principal.
