Regional Safety Manager- Electrical T&D (Overhead/Underground)

This position is responsible for the overall safety of all electrical T&D (Overhead/Underground) activities within the region. The Regional Safety Manager will work closely with the Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance departments to develop and implement safety programs that meet or exceed all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of power delivery, high voltages, utility construction, and a proven track record of safety leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety programs for all electrical T&D (Overhead/Underground) activities
• Conduct safety inspections and audits
• Investigate accidents and near misses
• Develop and implement corrective actions
• Provide safety training and education to employees
• Work with other departments to identify and mitigate safety risks
• Advocate for safety within the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in the electrical T&D (Overhead/Underground) industry
• Strong understanding of power delivery, high voltages, utility construction
• Proven track record of safety leadership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
