Regional Route Manager

Summary:
Practice professional sales techniques to prospect, solicit and develop new business to increase market share within assigned territory. Obtain and keep current on industry and product knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• A hunter mentality.
• Manage prospects and build customer relationships through development of sales and marketing plans.
• Schedule regular visits with customers to facilitate future renewal discussions.
• Match commercial services and products with customer needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of customers, industry, competition, and pricing.
• Schedule appointments, follow ups, and maintain accurate customer information.
• Ability to write proposals and business correspondence.
• Proven ability to effectively present information to management and groups of employees, customers, and clients.

Physical Demands & Requirements:
• The ability to communicate across all work-place positions including housekeepers, engineers, general maintenance staff, general managers, administrators, VPs of Purchasing, and CEO/Owners.
• Environment includes significant time on the road in an automobile and will include frequent stops at customer locations.
• The environment varies based on customers and may include exposure to dust, heat, dirt, and other chemicals used in laundry businesses.
• Self-motivated.
• Detail orientated with the ability to multi-task.
• Exceptional communication and interpreter.

Qualifications:
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and pricing.
• Strong knowledge of the commercial laundry business and products, preferred, but not required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships.

SALARY RANGE: $75,000-$80,000 based on experience, plus commission.
