We are hiring for the following:
Position:Regional Registered Nurse
Schedule: 36-40 hours per week, shifts vary (AM or PM)
Location: Travel Position mainly within the NC sites
Pay Rate: 50/hr.
Responsibilities:
Commitment to Quality of Service
- Monitor & ensure site compliance with contract requirements, state standards and policy & procedures; assist in maintaining site-specific P&P
- Develop collaborative working relationships with client leadership & staff supported by regular cadence of site visits;
- Maintain effective presence as first point of escalation.
- Collaborate with other Regional Managers and cross-functional leaders to identify and drive best practice adoption; become highly effective in change management
- Provide coaching & actionable feedback to HSAs focused on achieving site goals
Evidence Based Management, Reporting & Analysis- Support & implement methods for contract quality improvement monitoring & analysis; effectively use data for decision making; coach others in same
- Review & analyze site performance measures & reports, take preventative / corrective action from analysis; communicate findings & insights
- Attend pre-bid meetings & participate in proposal development as needed
- Support HSAs to track and monitor site staffing, vacancies, penalties, and liquidated damages
- Drive tempo for timely and appropriate CAP remediation efforts and progress; ensure communication to interested parties
Training Development & Leadership- Attendance at all client meetings (monthly / quarterly); in person when possible
- Perform as an effective liaison between Mediko leadership, site teams and custody, supporting alignment of shared goals and outcomes
- Proactively identify & communicate issues, risks & opportunities along with proposed solutions and/or resources needed to achieve expected results
- Actively participate in recruitment and retention strategy in and across assigned sites; focus on understanding and minimizing turnover drivers.
- Provide preliminary identification of talent opportunities and assist site leadership in coaching & developing their teams.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required
- Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA/American Red Cross approved)
- Four (4+) or more years of management experience in a healthcare setting; multi-site & or correctional healthcare strongly preferred
- Active state/commonwealth Registered Nurse licensure
