Currently our Quality Assurance team is looking to add a Regional QA/QC Assistant Manager to our Raleigh region! This person will cover our Raleigh & Wilmington regions.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop and implement quality control procedures and processes for constructions projects within a region.
The Regional Quality Assurance Assistant Manager will:
- Assist the Regional Quality Manager in developing and implementing quality control procedures and processes for construction projects within the region.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to identify and address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams in implementing quality control measures, including training and education on quality procedures.
- Review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and quality control reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of client complaints and non-conformance issues.
- Conduct internal quality audits to assess compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and standards related to quality management in the construction industry.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of quality-related documentation for client approval and regulatory compliance.
To qualify for the role, you should:
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in construction or quality management within the construction industry.
- Possess strong knowledge of quality management systems, processes, and tools.
- Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore).
- Must have a valid driver's license
