Job Description
The Regional Physical Security Specialist position will assist the Regional Physical Security Manager in executing the responsibilities of Physical Security in their area of responsibility. They will assist with site security assessments, investigations, incident response, supervise guard force operations, and supervise vendor performance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Represent Physical Security in their region of responsibility, attend meetings.
- Conduct investigations of security-related incidents and allegations including Threats and Workplace Violence in conjunction with the appropriate groups (HR, Legal, etc.).
- Identify, develop, implement, and maintain security practices and processes in accordance with regulations and policies.
- Conduct and document security site assessments at Valley properties and recommend security enhancements. Advise branch personnel on current security practices.
- Access Control: Badge Production and Access Management.
- Surveillance Equipment Operation and Footage Retrieval.
- Handle requests for services from Law Enforcement and Business Units.
- Service Portal; manage the assignment of service/repair work to vendors.
- Participate in crisis management planning and lead response in the event of a significant incident.
- Develop internal and external network to influence and drive Security initiatives, law enforcement liaison.
- Assist with the development of the Security budget to include capital expenses and operational costs.
- Indirectly supervise the Guard force.
- Executive Protection (when needed).
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Physical Security Programs and Systems: Access Control, Surveillance, and Alarm Monitoring.
- Knowledge and experience with a wide array of investigations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle Physical Security related incidents and remain calm in times of crisis.
- Ability to interpret building plans, design documents, and Physical Security proposals.
- Strong problem resolution skills.
- Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.

Required Experience:
- High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years Physical Security experience or retired Law enforcement.
- Bachelor's Degree, retired Law enforcement experience preferred.
- ASIS CPP certification preferred if no law enforcement experience.
