The Regional Nurse Consultant will lead, direct, and develop nursing staff in multiple facilities within the assigned region. Overall, the Regional Nurse Consultant will play a critical role in ensuring quality nursing care, regulatory compliance, and professional development across multiple healthcare facilities within the assigned region.


Duties/Responsibilities
:

  • Collaborates with facility administrators and nursing teams to develop and implement training programs, policies, and procedures. This may involve assessing staff competency, identifying training needs, and ensuring that nursing practices align with best practices and current regulations.
  • Works closely with facility administrators and quality improvement teams to identify opportunities for enhancing patient care outcomes. This may involve analyzing data, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and monitoring progress towards established goals.
  • Collaborates with various stakeholders, including facility administrators, nursing staff, regulatory agencies, and corporate leadership.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure that all nursing practices within the assigned region meet regulatory standards. This includes conducting audits, reviewing documentation, and providing recommendations to address any deficiencies or areas for improvement
  • Serves as a resource for nursing staff, addressing questions or concerns and providing ongoing education and support. This may include conducting training sessions, organizing workshops, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Travels as needed within assigned region to visit different healthcare facilities. This allows you to assess compliance, provide support, and foster strong working relationships with nursing staff and administrators.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience
  • Registered Nurse licensure required.
  • At least five years of Nursing experience required.
  • Two years of leadership experience preferred.
