Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Regional Mental Health Clinician position. This position is located at our Southeast Regional Office in Boca Raton, FL.
The Mental Health Clinician provides clinical support to our residents and serves as a key member of the interdisciplinary care team. The clinician will provide individual therapy services, behavioral health assessments, care planning, and behavioral intervention to the independent-living population within the designated region. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Masters or doctoral degree in psychology and/or social work with specialized expertise in geriatrics
- Minimum of three years' experience as a licensed behavioral Health Clinician providing assessment and psychotherapy services
- Maintains a state license as a Mental Health services provider (i.e. Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Psychologist)
- Eligible for National Provider Identification Number AND credentialing as a behavioral Health Clinician by Medicare and other third-party payers
- Board certification in geriatrics and experience in serving people living with dementia is preferred
