WinnCompanies is looking for a Regional Maintenance Technician to support various properties throughout Westchester County, primarily in White Plains, NY. There is also work in the Bronx and Northern Manhattan as required. In this role, you will perform maintenance functions and work-orders for our communities, including appliance repairs, apartment turn-overs, and maintenance of the exterior and interior of our properties.
This position pays between $25 and 30 per hour.
Responsibilities

• Perform repairs for a variety of areas such as appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, as well as basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
• Support the Regional Maintenance Manager and Director of Facilities with ad-hoc assignments
• Help prepare empty apartments to be ready for next round of tenant move-ins
• Maintain grounds through trash management, landscaping, and snow removal
• Complete all resident and site work orders in a timely manner
• Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of related work experience
• Valid driver's license
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets

Preferred Qualifications

• CAMT certification
• Advanced skill in at least 2 trades (electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and carpentry, etc.)

$25 - $30 an hour
