The Role:
Reporting directly to the Facilities Services Manager, the Regional Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the overall functionality of the facilities while providing excellent service to our team of Property Managers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Facility Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repairs needed. This includes checking lighting, doors, locks, security cameras, and other facility equipment.
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks including but not limited to painting, light plumbing, electrical work, door/hasp repair, asphalt repair, line-striping, etc. Coordinate with external contractors for more complex repairs as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to both Property Managers and tenants by addressing maintenance concerns promptly and professionally. Assist customers with moving in/out by providing equipment such as dollies and carts and offering guidance as needed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and coordinate with management to order supplies as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local building codes at all times.
- Schedule may include weekends and after-hours on an emergency basis.
- Schedule includes travel to our properties across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions.
Requirements
Experience & Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Be stationary for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to traverse the properties in varying weather conditions.
- Stooping, bending, twisting, reaching and repetitive motion may be required, for extended periods of time, in the completion of job duties.
- Ability to travel to locations other than the facility for the purpose of completing company errands.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
Salary Description
$22 - $24 per hour
