REPORTS TO: Director of Student Housing Operations


POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Annex Management Group is seeking a Regional Leasing Specialist – Student Portfolio. The Regional Leasing Specialist – Student Portfolio is responsible and accountable for property management support for student properties within the portfolio, providing excellent customer experiences, supporting our company mission, and maintaining compliance with all applicable housing laws and programs.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


Include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Responsible for creating a consistent leasing training program and content materials
  • Onboard new team members onto leasing operations with the company software (Entrata), etc
  • Maintain a solid awareness of the regional performance and recommend suggestions that will have a positive effect on performance
  • Conduct portfolio-wide training consisting of outreach marketing, renewals, new leasing, giving tours, leasing ratio, and follow-up
  • Identify and utilize internal and external resources to meet goals and objectives
  • Model effective leasing and customer service techniques and communicate expectations to site team members
  • Conduct on-site training remotely or during site visits.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of staff through ongoing training in compliance with TAG training benchmarks
  • Coordinate and review quarterly phone shops and in-person shops (at minimum) and work with sites that score below standard on training them on how to properly give phone and in-person tours
  • Ensure all administrative & leasing reporting is accurate, complete, and submitted on a timely basis
  • Review portfolio websites and ensure all items are updated with rents
  • Attend Housing Fairs
  • Keep abreast of relevant industry topics to incorporate them into planning and decision-making
  • Communicate regularly with Regionals, Director, Vice President, Corporate Partners, and Community Managers regarding goals, objectives, and relevant concerns, problems, and solutions
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers on leasing campaigns
  • Maintain an awareness and understanding of company goals and strategies needed to enhance market presence
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Property management experience required; leasing focus preferred
  • Student Housing experience required
  • 2-3 years of previous management experience required
  • Must possess authentic and genuine care of others with a strong desire to impact positive change in our residents’ lives
  • Strong work ethic with demonstrated desire to learn and grow with a growing company
  • Ambitious individual for this fun and entrepreneurial working environment
  • Ability to work independently and successfully execute multiple assignments
  • Must be a proficient communicator and listener
  • Must have basic knowledge of leasing and property management
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with frequent interruptions
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license

TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Working knowledge of social media and MS Office software programs is necessary
  • Ability and willingness to effectively use other job-related technology tools

Job Type: Full-time/Exempt

Pay: $55,000/year
