Job description

Job Purpose: Lead a multi-disciplinary marketing team in setting, executing, and achieving strategic marketing objectives aimed at driving profitable growth, sustainable brand and market positioning, and enhanced customer loyalty. Responsible for translating customer needs and market insights into measurable marketing initiatives aligned with Americas Region goals and the Euler Hermes global marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Prepare annual strategic marketing plans in alignment with Allianz Trade Group Marketing and in support of local and regional business goals; includes regional marketing budget management
  • Identify and implement new lead generation campaigns with a goal of filling the sales funnel with qualified new business opportunities via omni-channel marketing programs (digital, email, events, referral)
  • Build and manage go-to-market strategies to successfully launch new offerings to the market; contribute to development of new products and services to meet customer needs by supporting all distribution and product channels.
  • Lead the identification, development and implementation of strategic and tactical programs to grow market share, foster brand and product awareness, and improve ROI.
  • Responsible, in conjunction with Head of Direct Sales Force and Head of Sales Operations, for strategic alignment & support to reach annual new business targets
  • Develop programs aimed at increasing customer retention and cross/up selling with existing Allianz Trade customer base; inclusive of true customer centricity initiatives and other Allianz OE relationships.
  • Ongoing Market research, competitive analysis and benchmarking, and monitoring of customer and market trends.
  • Manage and maintain regional marketing budget.
  • Foster innovation via digital distribution initiatives in alignment with respective distribution channels
  • Work with all Business Units (USA, Canada, Brazil) in the region to ensure alignment.
  • Coach, mentor, and manage a decentralized team OF MARKETing associates to meet and exceed goals.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Ability to problem solve and think strategically.
  • Ability to steer business decisions based on data.
  • Ability to transform large amounts OF MARKET data into concrete insights.
  • Strong results-orientation and analytical skills.
  • Expert project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build and motivate teams; and attract, train and retain high potential employees.
  • Ability to ensure profitable and sustainable growth in a fast-paced and changing business environment.
  • Cross-functional marketing experience including digital marketing, email/Marketo, direct marketing, lead generation, customer experience and product marketing.
  • B2B service marketing experience.
  • Demonstrable results-orientation and focus on ROI.
  • Leadership of multi-functional marketing teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related business field required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years OF MARKETing experience
