Job Description
The Regional Facilities Technician will handle all maintenance and repair needs for the venues in their assigned region. They will work in alignment with management to identify and solve facility issues in the following areas: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, broken appliances, AV, bowling equipment, arcade/redemption and general building maintenance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Routine maintenance tasks: painting, drywall repairs, assembly, installation, etc.
- Repair equipment or appliances including bowling, arcade games and redemption kiosk.
- Ensure proper maintenance and repairs on all electrical, plumbing, and HVAC components in venue.
- Effectively identify, communicate, and report the necessity for all major repairs to Director of Facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of completed repairs utilizing facilities management software (Service Channel).
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Skills + Abilities included but are not limited to:
- Understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Expertise in bowling: mechanics, pinsetters, scoring, maintenance, etc.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing technical services of the business: building, AV, equipment, tools, arcade games
- Strong communication skills with a go-getter mentality
- Attention to detail with a strong organizational ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions
Education + Experience + Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance
- Ability to work late or “On Call” weekends as required by repairs
- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
- Experience with Service Channel or other facilities management software is a plus
- HVAC Certification is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
- Must be flexible with work schedule and can commute daily/weekly to assigned venues
- Must be flexible with work schedule with the ability to travel overnight 50%
