What You’ll Do

• As a Regional Dialysis Nurse (RN), you will be performing Hemodialysis treatments and/or Peritoneal Dialysis (if experienced) within the Correctional Community.
• You will have a set base location, with the expectation to cover all other Eastern Massachusetts facilities when needed.
• You will be utilizing your assessment skills, technical skills, collaborative skills, documentation skills, and leadership qualities on a daily basis.

This role will cover the following facilities when needed:

• Suffolk, MA within Suffolk County Jail
• Shirley, MA within MCI Shirley
• Bridgewater, MA within Bridgewater Correctional Facility
• Devens, MA within Devens Federal Medical Center

As in any setting, this involves teamwork and coordinating care with the health care team. In addition to the healthcare team, you are also required to maintain strong relationships, regular communication, and visibility with clients (site Managed Healthcare, DOC/BOP, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited RN Program.
• Current RN License for Massachusetts & current CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English.
• One year of Hemodialysis RN experience is required.
