We're looking for a Regional Customer Engagement Manager to join our Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit. Accountabilities

As a Regional Customer Engagement Manager, you will focus on commercial ESEs (External Scientific Experts) relationship engagement and management, building and developing brand advocacy, congress support, gathering and sharing key insights, and supporting the strategic imperatives of the brand by influencing and shaping commercial success at regional and local levels. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging a core group of National, Regional, and Community ESEs, developing a Key Customer Marketing Action Plan (KC MAP), leading ESE interactions at congresses & regional conferences, generating timely and actionable customer insights, managing multiple program budgets, timelines, processes, and procedures while adhering to required policies and trainings/certifications, and collaborating with field leadership (CED’s), account directors, and other brand and medical partners.

Position covers the West region of U.S. including Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Arizona.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Business, Marketing, or the Sciences

  • 5 years of Pharmaceutical or Healthcare experience

  • 3 years of Pharmaceutical Marketing and Promotions experience such as field sales, product marketing, or thought leader engagement

  • Working knowledge of External Scientific Expert/Thought Leader engagement practices.

  • Clinical/scientific knowledge in complex disease states

  • Experience developing strategy and executing against it

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-driven with strong organizing and planning skills

  • Highly collaborative with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

  • Proven ability to manage large geographical territory.

  • Travel requirements: Willing to travel >50% of the time including overnight and weekend travel as required.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced Degree

  • Prior experience and/or relationships within Infectious Disease, Immunology, Rheumatology, Transplant, Heme-Onc, Nephrology and/or Neurology

  • Prior experience in hospital sales, marketing and/or thought leader engagement.

  • Prior leadership experience and team management skills

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to assess and get results

  • Preferable for an individual to have close access to a major airport

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $142,101 to $195,388. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
