Regional Cdla Driver

TSI Trucking in Jeffersonville Indiana is looking for an experienced truck driver for out and back runs. This position will pay hourly, up to 11 hours per day during your drive and on duty time. We are looking for someone that can stay out at least 2 nights a week and go back to the Jeffersonville location throughout the rest of the week doing local pickups and deliveries. Some places we will service will be St. Louis, North Carolina, Chicago, Pennsylvania. This position pays weekly.
Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery appointments.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid Class A CDL
