Regional Box Truck Driver

We are looking for an experienced delivery driver/ Box Truck Driver to deliver daily loads with multiple stops in Southern California and Central California daily. Hiring 3 Full Time and 2 Part Time employees to start the last week of March/ First week of April.

HOURS:

Typical Hours range from 1AM-10AM

Hours will vary based on the shift you are assigned if hired.

$180 a day/$900 a week. 1099 contractor position NOT W2. Please do not apply if you do not like the pay structure. An average day is about 10-12 hours. Bonus pay applies for certain routes. Overtime paid after 12 hours at time and a half.

You will be making about $56,000 a year full time + Overtime and Bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Box Truck Driver/ delivery driver
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• 2 years experience driving
• 23 years of age or older

Pay: $180.00 per day

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
