Job Summary
The Lead Registered Behavior Technician (LRBT) will report to the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst at Oakwood's Center for Exceptional Families. The Lead Registered Behavior Technician shall be responsible for orientation and training of Registered Behavior Technicians, problem solving direct patient care issues, participate in writing group curriculum, and data graphing.
Essential Functions
- Leads and assigns the daily work schedules for RBT staff and provide coverage during RBT absence.
- Trains new employees and assists with student affiliations.
- Assists Manager with PROP Process.
- Develops, manages and organizes materials necessary or program implementation.
- Implement interventions to reduce problem behavior under the direction of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst.
- Communicate regularly with the treatment team to ensure quality care provided to all patients.
- Collect data, graph and prepare data for Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior analyst that can be used to determine effectiveness of interventions to decrease problem behavior.
- Implement behavior analytic (focused or comprehensive} instruction program to teach skills, under the direction of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst.
- Collect skill acquisition data necessary to determine effectiveness of intervention program as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of assessment and treatment to meet hospital and insurance billing guidelines.
- Adhere to all ethical guidelines outlined by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.
- Participate in regular ongoing curriculum meetings with BCBA and families as primary RBT.
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience 2-3 years of experience Required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association
