Nordic Refrigeration is looking for a reliableRefrigeration Service Technician with strong mechanical aptitude, hard work ethic, and great attitude. Willing to train the right candidate.

Meanwhile, continue building your career with one of the fastest-growing and most reputable refrigeration companies in Colorado. You'll primarily be responsible for a variety of diagnostic, installation, and maintenance work on commercial refrigeration equipment. We also do a variety of in-house designs/ engineering of custom refrigeration systems and encourage the collaboration of our service techs to bring these projects to life.
***Job requires relocating to Eagle/Garfield County***
Responsibilities
- Diagnosis, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance of commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment at restaurants, convenience stores, liquor stores, supermarkets, hotels, and cold storage warehouses.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration, controls, and electrical systems.
- Complete necessary paperwork and service reports to explain work completed and track parts, refrigerant, and time.
- Communicate with customers to explain the nature of your work.
- Frequent communication with service manager on scheduling, mechanical troubleshooting, ordering parts, etc.
- Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures and governing requirements.
- Emergency On-Call Rotation (~1 weekend every 4-6 weeks)
Job Requirements
- High School or equivalent (minimum)
- 3+ years experience in Refrigeration/ AC trade (grocery experience preferred)
- Experience with parallel rack systems (preferred)
- Clean Driving Record
- Standard tools of the trade (hand tools, gauges, meters, etc.)
- Self-motivated, strong desire to learn, and problem-solving mindset
- EPA level II or Universal certification
- Proficient communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance of the workplace and self
Preferred: (Not required)
- Completed HVAC/R trade school
