Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Master of Chill: Maintain, repair, and conduct evaluations, as well as perform preventative and predictive maintenance on refrigeration equipment, specializing in Freon systems.
Digital Dynamo: Complete work order tasks and ensure meticulous logging into our state-of-the-art Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Information Maestro: Maintain detailed reporting of inspections, evaluations, and preventive maintenance procedures. Effectively communicate all vital information regarding equipment operation and maintenance to our leadership team.
Flexibility First: Embrace a variety of tasks as assigned, showcasing your adaptability and versatility in tackling challenges.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Safety Sentinel: Oversee contractors working on refrigeration systems, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
High-Flyer: Utilize onsite motorized lifts as needed while operating, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
Cool Credentials: 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance, refrigeration equipment maintenance, or a combination of relevant experience and trade school education.
Team Player: Capable of completing routine preventative maintenance with instructions and supervision, contributing to our collaborative work environment.
Tech Savvy: Possess strong computer skills to navigate our cutting-edge systems efficiently.
Communication Pro: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact seamlessly with individuals at all levels of the organization. Translate technical results into digestible information for a non-technical audience.
Problem Solver: Showcase your exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills that set you apart.
Cool Under Pressure: Ability to work in extreme temperatures, ranging from -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites to up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites. Comfortable wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Strength and Stamina: Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs., demonstrating physical resilience.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, at times, can be loud.
