Referral/Scheduling Coordinator | Part Time

Responsibilities to include work internally with Hospital Physicians, ER Physicians, and Referral Group Physicians. Schedule and follow up on appointments made with Specialists. Evaluate and keep log of all referrals. Back up Registration Specialists as needed.

Schedule is: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8a - 4:30p

Required Skills

• Some College Preferred
• Two years of hospital/healthcare experience preferred
• Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties.
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required. Minimal supervision – individual proceeds on his/her own initiative in compliance.
• Must be proficient Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to multitask
