Referral/ Delivery Coordinator

• The referral/Delivery Coordinator will play a vital role in our operations by efficiently managing orders from hospitals and medical facilities, as well as ensuring the timely delivery of equipment to our clients. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Intake Department Duties

· Receive and process incoming orders from hospitals and medical facilities.

· Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and prescription details.

· Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify orders or obtain additional information as needed.

· Coordinate with the billing department to ensure accurate billing and documentation.

· Maintain accurate records of all orders and transactions.

· Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and tracking equipment availability.

· Provide exceptional customer service to clients and healthcare professionals.

· Answers incoming phone calls to address patient’s and/or referral’s needs.

· Helps any fellow staff member to the best of their ability when asked for help (if you are able to help and still fulfill your current duties).

· Files patient records.

· Responds to emails and patient phone calls/messages by the end of that same business day.

Delivery Technician Duties

· Safely and efficiently deliver medical equipment to client’s homes or healthcare facilities.

· Load and unload equipment from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.

· Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.

· Follow established delivery routes and schedules to meet deadlines.

· Provide basic instruction to clients on the proper use and care of equipment.

· Collect necessary paperwork, including delivery confirmations and patient signatures.

· Communicate any delivery issues or concerns to the appropriate department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
