Referral Coordinator/Medical Receptionist

Yadira Baez-Lockard, Psy.D. LLC is a privately owned psychological and medical practice with two office locations. This job is located in our Piedmont location off of exit 40 on I-85. We're looking for a full-time front desk receptionist who is detail-oriented, has strong computers skills, and the ability to multitask.

We're looking for a candidate with the ability to:

• Review referrals and schedule patients with providers
• Contact patients and referral sources to facilitate appointments
• Verify insurance & know which insurances we accept

• Collect co-payments and payments on the phone
• Call in prescriptions
• Answer patient phone calls
• Balance end of the day collections
• Additional duties may be assigned

The ideal candidate will have prior work experience in a medical office and a college degree (preferred, but not required). We need something that is able to work in a team, as you will be working closely with therapists, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants and medical doctors. Spanish Preferred.
