$15.00/hour minimum

Job Overview:
The Women's HealthReferral Coordinator works referrals for Women's Health providers and ensure patients are seen in a timely manner for both external and internal referrals.
Duties:

• Contacts patients within 72 hours of discharge from either emergency room visit or hospital stay.
• Advise and schedule appropriate follow-up appointments.
• Follow-up on referrals to ensure that appointment was kept and results have been communicated back to patient and clinic.
• Request appropriate medical records.
• Assist with scheduling referrals to specialties.
• Work reports to schedule visits for appropriate health maintenance and follow-up visits.
• Work reports to identify non-compliant patients and reach out to those patients.
• Performs surgery scheduling for providers.
• Submits Notice of Pregnancy communications daily via email, fax or web-based.
• Supports and conducts department pre-authorizations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience. Experience in ambulatory clinical setting is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic medical records
• High School Diploma or GED.
