IS THIS THE JOB FOR YOU?

As our Recycling Yard Manager, you oversee all aspects of our yard operations. You develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity and profitability while building strong relationships with customers, management, and your team members. You monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for enhancement and implementing effective solutions.

Leading by example, you guide your team in achieving operational goals and maintaining high standards of excellence. Through daily team huddles and continuous one-on-one meetings, you coach your team on the best practices. You take care of our facility by managing inventory, opening and closing the yard, and completing some housekeeping duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of management experience
• 3+ years of recycling processing experience
• Knowledge about ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Familiarity with finances, business principles, and operations management
• Strong communication skills and ability to inspire others
• High school diploma or equivalent

A bachelor's degree or heavy equipment experience would be preferred.
