POSITION SUMMARY

NPower is looking for an enthusiastic Recruiting and Admissions Manager that will be responsible for engaging young adults and veterans for the Tech Fundamentals program as well as managing day-to-day administrative tasks. Recruiting and Admissions Managers work closely with trainees, their team, and community partners to ensure a positive admissions process and the trainees’ success in the program.


As Recruitment and Admissions Manager, you will:

• Drive year-round trainee recruitment efforts

• Develop relationships with veteran workforce development agencies and community-based organizations

• Host informational sessions and attend tabling and networking events to generate applicants

• Screen, schedule, and interview candidates for the Tech Fundamentals program

• Meet with local and national NPower offices to coordinate recruiting efforts

• Input and update trainee data in Salesforce, SharePoint, and/or Dropbox (i.e., attendance, notes, documents, contact information)

• Handle all performance management for trainees including meetings for warnings, performance agreements, withdrawals, and dismissals

Education and Experience Requirements:

At least one of the following must be met:

• A two-year degree with 4 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: workforce, recruitment/admissions or training and development

• A four-year college degree with 2-3 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: workforce, student recruitment, admissions or workforce training and development

• Experience with young adult workforce development programs a plus

• Must have a valid driver’s license and able to travel throughout the state (approximately 25%)
