We have an opportunity to join the Alliance as a Recruiter in the Human Resources Department. This is a Defined Term position, meaning that it is approved for a specific duration of time (January 2024 - December 2024). Accepting applications through Friday, December 25, 2023 at 5:00pm.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FORReporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager and working closely with our Lead and Senior Recruiters, this Recruiter is responsible for coordinating and performing responsible professional level activities for all recruitment lifecycle steps from planning meeting through offer for a variety of positions. Utilizing our online Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Greenhouse you'll build and post jobs, screen applications, design selection steps and with oversight from the Senior Recruiters, develop interview questions. You'll partner with hiring supervisors in a proactive way and ensure candidates have a positive experience in their interactions with the Alliance by partnering with the staff responsible for scheduling, developing professional correspondence, communicating accurately and timely, soliciting candidate feedback, and making recommendations for improvements. You'll also complete accurate and timely data entry so attention to detail is critical.

- Knowledge of:
- The basic principles and practices of recruitment and selection and equal employment opportunity

- Ability to:
- Develop and implement creative and effective recruitment strategies that attract a diverse and qualified applicant pool
- Work collaboratively with hiring supervisors and managers to plan, manage and implement recruitment activities
- Identify issues, gather and analyze information, reach logical and sound conclusions, make recommendations for action, and recognize matters requiring escalation to a higher-level staff member
- Organize work, establish priorities, manage multiple recruitments and projects, respond to changing priorities, and meet deadlines
- Work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a team and work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization
- Exercise tact and diplomacy and demonstrate strong customer service skills when communicating in person, in writing, and by phone
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or a related field
- Three years of experience as a Recruiter, performing professional-level Talent Acquisition activities; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying
- Healthcare experience or experience conducting recruitment activities in a non-profit or public sector environment is preferred
- Internal talent team experience is also preferred

OTHER DETAILS
- While this position is connected to one of our Alliance offices, we are in hybrid remote/in-office work environment right now and we anticipate that the interview process will take place remotely.
- Our Alliance office locations have officially re-opened as of May 2, 2022 and while some employees may work in full-time telecommute schedules, attendance at quarterly company-wide events or department meetings will be expected.
- Based on the nature of work, this position may require onsite presence, which is dependent on business need. Details about this can be reviewed during the interview process.
