Rogers-Oconomowoc is looking for a Fitness / Yoga Recreation Therapist (Experiential Therapist, Creative Expression Therapist) to work with our Adult Residential Eating Disorder patients 32 hours a week, but get full time benefits! We are looking for someone with a passion for fitness and outdoor activity who also has a background applying in a clinical/expressive manor!
- Own and lead specific program in a core position.
- Detailed and thorough paid-training from day 1 before obtaining caseload.
- Develop fitness plans to aid residents struggling with eating disorders to re-integrate fitness and physical recreation back into their lives in a healthy manner.
Schedule:
- Tuesday – Friday
- 8am-4:30pm schedule – with some flexibility needed
- 32 hours a week | 0.8 FTE
Position responsibilities:
- Awareness of the contraindications of eating disorder diagnosis within physical activity.
- Facilitate yoga sessions 3 times a week while offering individualized fitness interventions throughout the week.
- Ability to assess risk management needs for outdoor adventure activities for small groups of 3-4.
- Develops, plans, implements, facilitates, directs and evaluates programming in all specialized treatment areas.
- Awareness of CBT and DBT skills.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in art, music, dance, recreation or other therapies. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Certification through appropriate credentialing board is highly desired.
- This job requires you to have a Valid Wisconsin Drivers License.
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
