GENERAL NATURE OF THE WORK:
The Recreation, Enrichment & Facilities Specialist is responsible for assisting in the supervision of the daily operations, clerical support and personnel matters for Central Community Education . Assist the Director in the development, coordination, implement, promote, and evaluate a variety of youth and adult recreation, athletic, and fitness programs. Provide on-site assistance as needed. Promote program activities and maintain a positive public relations with district staff and Central families.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent computer skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with a diverse group of people of all ages, manage people, and schedules.
- Valid MN driver's License
- Certification in CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Sports & Recreation Management, Parks & Recreation, or closely aligned field
- Knowledge of recreation service, such as youth and adults sports & recreation, and/or special events.
- Experience with operations of an Activity
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing successful recreation programming and community events
