SalaryHavencare at Hancock Hall is seeking a Recreation Aide to join our team! You will perform a variety of duties to assist our residents in attaining and/or maintaining their highest practical physical, mental and social well-being. The Recreation Aide position is a full time position working eight hours a day, five days a week which includes working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Recreation Aide Job Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist in planning and conducting activities
- Prepare and organize supplies needed to conduct activities
- Monitor dining room during meal times
- Assist residents with daily living skills as needed
- Assist with resident outings and planned activities
- Maintain a safe environment for our residents
Recreation Aide Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in activities or other related field
- Strong work ethic
- Caring and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.76 - $17.39 per hour
