Recreation Aid (Golf Course)

About the position: This position will be assigned to the Manatee Cove Golf Course on Patrick Space Force Base.
This position is a flexible position with no benefits.
This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week. Must be able to life and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of the rules of golf and golf etiquette. Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions and be able to perform duties without constant supervision. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must and be able to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty to include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).Education: Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
