Recovery Specialist
Program & Location: Acute Treatment Services (ATS), Plymouth
Education: High School diploma or equivalent(GED)
Pay Range: $20 - $24 per hour (experience and education dependent)
Status: FT/PT & Per Diem positions available
Shift differentials are included for those working second shift/overnight/weekends!

High Point has programs offering Acute Treatment Services (detoxification) for clients seeking voluntary Inpatient Substance Use Treatment and Clinical Stabilization Services
High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Recovery Specialist Duties & Responsibilities
- Applicants should have knowledge of substance use disorders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism and boundaries
- Conduct and document groups
- Complete client admissions
- Complete property searches, monitor clients while maintaining a therapeutic, safe and calm unit
- Observation and accounting of patients at all times ensuring safety (hourly checks) as well as documentation
- Escorting patients to meals and fresh air breaks
- Attends required meetings and mandatory trainings
Recovery Specialist Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED
